Love this word game. Sometimes it resigns me before Ive had time to get back to the game. But I still enjoy it.

Best game out there! Particularly because there are no cheats out there (I think!)

I can understand excluding "offensive" words, but too many real, non offensive words are excluded...dumbed down from the board version. Use a bigger dictionary!

Love this game. Wife and I play all the time. We also play with a cousin far away. It is good to keep in touch.

Love it! Its my fave word game app. I have never had any problems it. It always runs smooth. The only thing that I wish would change is the Tile Swap ... we should be able to swap more than 1 tile. Thats my only complaint.

Love this game! Keeps your mind sharp! I learn new words almost daily! Love the league games too! Used for years and never had any problems or glitches. Its completely addictive! :)

Since the Skywords app is no longer viable, this game is as good as it gets. I agree that the censorship of words is really annoying. Words are just words! I would suggest that the creators of this app continue to expand their dictionary. Having said that, this is still one of my favorite games. When I am playing the table version there is no censorship, but I guess we just have to deal with that in order to play this game.

I was quickly hooked. Great game. I especially like the red and green light feature. It makes the game goes much more quickly than other similar games.

Cannot stop playing with my family and friends. Played as kids, and still enjoying.

This is by far my favorite word game. Upwords works exceptionally well for me. I fine no glitches or problems. I highly recommend it to all who enjoy word games. I always get a fast response to all my email questions. For landscape version, I would like a large board the same size as the portrait. If all the top info and buttons were placed on the right side of board, it looks like this would be possible. If not, no problems, I will continue to use the portrait board. The game play is fine but navigating the app is not intuitive. Using an avatar really shouldnt have to require a third-party site or FB. Statistics of played games and the list of every opponent are nice features. Im just ever sure of where to click to get where I need to be.

Im so glad this game finally made it onto the App Store! My family and friends and I have loved playing this over the years as a board game, and now we can compete across the miles. This is a faithful re-creation of the board game, and the developer is very responsive on suggestions. Love, love, love it!

UPDATE TO REVIEW: Have talked a friend into playing & shes enjoying it too. After a couple of games she figured out how to really play it and shes winning a lot!! This game is so much fun. :-) My husband & I play it together & it has been a lot of fun. Havent had any problems with the app yet & weve been playing a couple of months.

Fun and fast paced.

After years of serious competition with my husband, Im so glad that Upwords is available as an app! I love how similar it is to the board game and Ive had no problems with the function of the app. My only complaint is the crazy "words" that the computer comes up with, but Ill try to learn from it!

I have enjoyed the board game Upwords for many years. When I found out there was an online app, I jumped at the chance to download it. For me, it is much more entertaining than the usual Scrabble-type games. Upwords has its own strategy. It was well worth the money.

I love this game to death. It is an absolutely stellar game, which the developer continues to improve, always attentive to user feedback. I play this game incessantly and I am consistently impressed with its developer. It is on principal that I withhold the fifth star, as silly as that may seem. There are two main word lists employed by word-game developers. Hasbro chose one of these lists but then censored it to remove words it considers inappropriate to use. I believe censorship of game play is an unacceptable, foolish, and unnecessary intrusion.
